OUTSIDE SALES – MIAMI AREA

As an Account Representative, from your home base, you will focus on the sale of our outstanding, award-winning products to commercial accounts in the Miami area. You will be selling industrial finishing equipment. This will include; Air Compressors, Paint Spray Guns, Sandblasting Equipment, Powder Coating Equipment, Paint Spray Booths, etc. We represent over 50 manufacturers like Graco, Binks, DeVilbiss, Sata and Nordson.

This is not a one sale and out job. You must have the ability to develop relationships quickly and be viewed by your customers as a resource to assist their production.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and supporting existing customers in the territory, there is an existing base of business to start from.
  • Prospecting for new accounts.
  • Staying abreast of company and competitor products and pricing
  • Promoting company image and products at business shows
  • Providing assistance to the company in credit and collection matters when needed.
  • Submitting required reports and reporting end user requirements to management

COMPENSATION:

This is a commission – draw based position. You will be paid a weekly draw against your monthly commissions.

REQUIREMENTS:

The right candidate must have a solid work history, a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1-2 years outside sales and/or technical experience in our industry or a related industry. You will be in direct contact with our customers and therefore neatness in personal appearance, a pleasant personality, excellent telephone skills, customer problem solving and the ability to establish and maintain good relationships with customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional service is a must.

  • Must possess a clean driver’s license.
  • Must be 18 years old and pass a pre-employment drug test. A background check done on previous employment, motor vehicle and criminal records.
  • Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and telephone skills.
  • Computer literate – Must know Microsoft Word, Excel and Act.
  • A bilingual (Spanish) candidate is required.
